The Role

The Paid Search and Social Media Analyst role at AUDIENCEX will entail joining a dynamic and fast-growing communications and technology company at the forefront of some of the most exciting innovations in multi-channel digital media: from AI, data-driven programmatic display and programmatic TV, to other digital performance channels that are transforming how marketers engage their audiences.

In this position, you will work primarily with our Director of Paid Search and Social, along with our Media and Accounts Teams, to manage high-level Search Engine Marketing and Social Media campaigns. It would be your priority to build, execute and manage these campaigns for our clients. You should have an in-depth understanding of SEM along with a minimum of one full year executing campaigns.

Key day-today responsibilities:

  • Research and understand client business models, products & services, verticals, and competition to create and manage campaigns that drive business profitability and growth
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and assist in development of search media plans (research, targeting, ad network distribution, keyword building, ad copy writing, etc.)
  • Create, implement, track, and analyze paid media campaigns in Google AdWords, Bing Ads, or 3rd-party management platforms, as well as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, Quora, Reddit, Amazon Ads, and other channels for clients of varying size and complexity
  • Regularly perform quality assurance/optimizations including negative keyword strategy, ad copy testing, keyword expansion, bid & budget management
  • Measure and evaluate success of campaigns to deliver on performance objectives and inform investment decisions
  • Identify and troubleshoot data anomalies and develop other actionable insights
  • Regularly Interact with account management team regarding campaign management
  • Create and maintain reporting dashboards and assist in generating regularly performance reports for clients
  • Assist in monthly and quarterly media billing reconciliations
  • Study, observe, and develop learnings on all elements of paid media campaign management
  • Collaborate with technical team on pixel implementation for effective conversion tracking
  • Maintain an understanding of industry trends and research industry-related media

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years of hands-on Paid Search experience
  • Google AdWords Certification
  • Strong experience building and executing Search Engine Marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of the relationships between keywords, ads, and landing pages
  • Ability to manage paid media campaigns independently
  • An analytical mindset and approach
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects

Salary is negotiable depending on experience
