The Role

The primary responsibility of the Planner role is the creation of thoughtful, engaging, strategic responses to sales inquiries. The Planner works with and supports the Sales, Customer Success, Ad Operations and Marketing teams to manage the pre-sale process and support key brand and category strategy. This individual will be responsible for understanding AUDIENCEX’s market differentiation, as well as the competitive DSP landscape in order to position aX to win new key accounts and increase revenue. This team member reports to the Director of Customer Success.

Key day-today responsibilities:

  • Project manage all components of the pre-sale proposal process
  • Day-to-day support of sales team through development of media plans and decks for advertising proposals both proactive and in response to RFPs
  • Project manage all components of the pre-sale process
  • Work closely with sales leads, marketing and creative team on custom ideas and proactive programs
  • Communicate with sales lead regarding campaign details and additional information required
  • Liaise between departments: campaign operations, account management, sales, and marketing
  • Create and update marketing collateral for proposals and sales decks
  • Research and report additional information pertaining to sales collateral and RFPs when necessary
  • Be an expert on the AdTech marketplace, content offerings, new features, and new ad units in order to put together the best media plans possible
  • Stay abreast of industry news and competitive sites
  • Thrive in an industry where clients need everything yesterday

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, 3-5 year’s experience preferred
  • Agency, marketing or business experience a plus
  • Passionate about media and advertising
  • Enthusiasm and interest in marketing and advertising, passionate about brands, understanding of sales process and budget requirements, experience in content marketing, social media, integrated marketing a plus
  • Super user of Keynote, Excel and other Office programs
  • Super user of Google applications
  • Extremely deadline-oriented and organized with superior project management skills
  • Expert multi-tasker, thrives in a fast-paced environment with frequent, tight deadlines
  • Pristine attention to detail and proofreading/editing skills, very detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with HTML a plus
  • Experience within digital production, content marketing is a HUGE plus
  • Experience with graphic design, photoshop a HUGE plus
  • Quick self-learner, problem-solver and solutions-oriented

Salary is negotiable depending on experience
